Hey Folks, I have a 7130e and would like to update my OS to the latest version. My problem is that when I try to use the instructions provided on this site i must get confused or I have lots of JUNK on my PC. When I look for and try to rename the files and such I often have 2 or 3 3 different ones to use and I have to say I get very confused. Is there a simplier way or do I need to delete everything listed as blackberry on my PC and start over, and could someone provide SIMPLE instructions on the entire process of upgrading my OS. You don't need to rename any files. You DO need to delete "vendor.xml". If you have multiple copies delete them all.

1. install the latest version of the desktop software.
2. download and install the verion of the BB os you want.
3. delete vendor.xml (if you find multiple ones, deletel them all)
4. Restart the desktop software and it will prompt you to update
