is there a media player available for the 8700, and if so where and how do i get it on the phone. thank you.

I can not get the 4.2 update yet, but there have been sevral threads talking about this. Video is not currently supported on the BB 4.2 software. I have heard it is on the next version.

I have to say you've heard wrong. Since the video player first debuted with 4.2.0 and we're up to 4.2.1 I don't see any chance of it coming in the future for 8700. Plus, there's not much use of a video player on a device that usually only has about 20-30megs free on it.

????? Wait first you say there is a video player, and then you say there is not, and you couldn't use it if there was. Which is it?
