Default Outlook 2003 Sync - Multiple Contact Folders

Please Login to Remove!

I used to be able to sync multiple contact folders in Outlook.
I would have the default "Contacts" folder with entries in it, and I would create other Contact folders that would appear immediately below it. After performing a sync, my Blackberry would have entries from all folders.

Right now when I try to sync a 8703 to Outlook via Blackberry Desktop and the USB cable it does not sync any contact folders other than the default "Contacts" folder.

Any ideas?

P.S. - This used to work with my 7250

Any thoughts on this? I've made sure that no filters are applied on the Blackberry. I'm certain now that the sync process is completely ignoring the other Contact folder, I've tried recreating it, renaming it, etc.

It will only sync the one main folder.

You're only able to sync with one Outlook Contacts folder, it doesn't have to be the main one that is created by Outlook, you can choose which one to sync with through the Desktop Manager software.

Intellisync will only sync with Contacts by default and not subfolders or any other contacts folders. You can set up Intellisync to also sync a secondary folder but IIRC it's a one-way sync and you must sync via USB.

Thanks for the help!

I'm a bit more confused because I have been syncing other 8703 phones via BES. I have multiple contact folders there and they have been getting through without a problem. Its the few users that aren't on BES that I'm having problems with.

So I guess the easiest solution is to tell the user to use a single contact list.

Thanks!
