(About)T-Mobile 7230 Is there a way to get the (Blackberry Browser) on t-mobile BB7230? - maybe like ask the technicians! i only have the pink t-zone browser appreciate any advice... Thank You. BARK |
I haven't found a way without BES/MDS. On the 7290 with T-Mo I have a third browser that looks to be similar to the Blackberry Browser though it has a different name. I can't recall what it was called as it disappeared when I cleared out my service books. I'm guessing here but I believe it is an html browser that uses the 7290's internal IP stack instead of relying on MDS as the Blackberry Browser does. |
Even if you do get the regular blackberry browser, which I am not sure you can, you still want to keep the T-Zones. That is the set default browser for the blackberry you have. It's the only one that allows email set up, certain application downloads etc. Do not get rid of the T-Zones. |
Will i get the regular (Blackberry Browser) if i purchase the T-Mobiles BlackBerry Enterprise Server access plan while letting me keep the t-zones browser as well on my t-mobile BB7230? and if so, is it good or bad for a none corporate user like me to get the BlackBerry Enterprise Server access? i also want the best plan for IM and Browsing the Net. Any Advice? Thanks. |
I strongly recommend the reqwireless webviewer, which enables quick loading of images and text, as opposed to the blackberry browser. Also if you want IMing, I recommend verichat which is AIM, MSN, YAHOO and one other messaging service. |
Webview seems cool. i will definately get that if i can't get the blackberry browser. Thanks for the advice (jacobsaa). BTW, i don't need to be on Blackberry Enterprise Server Access to use Verichat right? just a regular t-mobile blackberry plan... Thanks. |
