I just bought a blackberry 8703e and am receiving all of my yahoo emails on my handheld. I want to receive some on my desktop and some on my blackberry. I guess I have to create filters??? Can someone help??

Well, yes you can establish filters. Go to your carrier's BIS site where you setup your email, click edit on your yahoo setup and you will find filters you can set there. Hope that helps.

What do you mean you "still can not do it"? Did you go to your BIS site?

Your carrier *isn't* yahoo.

Your carrier is your cellular provider.

Goto the BIS website for your cellular provider (this is likely where you setup your yahoo to be delivered to your handheld) and create/edit/delete filters.

I think most of the newer BB OS's have an 'Email Options' icon which is basically a shortcut to this site.

ok, I have sprint, I will try it now. So there is a way I can have certain messages go to my desktop like american airlines emails for example that I want but not on my berry???

Yes, as stated several times in this thread. Create a filter where any email with the American Airlines FROM address does not get forwarded to you blackberry.

This could be a very cumbersome effort to create multiple filters for certain email NOT to go to your Blackberry. You will find it much easier to to simply hit the delete key.

Does anyone know if Verizon will be getting the curve or the pearl? I am deperate for a blackberry with a camera but do not want to switch providers.
