My 8700 is currently set up with my corporate BES. I do not have the Blackberry Desktop software installed on my computer; all configuration / updates are done over the air. This set-up has been great -- it just works with little to no end-user setup or configuration.

Is it possible to add my personal IMAP account to my Blackberry concurrent with my BES account? If so, do I need to make any separate arrangements with my provider (Rogers) to use BIS?

If the answer is no, I plan to drop my BES account and only synch my IMAP account to my Blackberry, as this is the account that I will be using more often.

Just go to the BIS Website for Rogers and create an account. This should work if your IT admins did not disable this function through the BES IT Policy.

You should check your corporate policy settings first. Many savvy companies restrict BIS access on the device (they can't keep you from setting it up with Rogers, but they can lock it out via the BES). If there is no policy, you're good to go. I have both on mine.

Any tips on how to get emails sent from my Blackberry to show up in the Sent mail folder on my IMAP account? It looks like the BIS manager will auto-BCC messages, but I don't know how to get them into my sent folder.
