Default 8703e I need help with e-mail

Please Login to Remove!

I just purchased this phone. I sell on ebay and when I receive a email from ebay or paypal it looks to be in html form. If I'm using the term correctly. Basically, I can't understand the writing. Is there a setting so that I cant read text in a normal view? Please help me.

Thanks,
Jody

No you cant.... The BB does text but it might look like html code with the links.... Does ebay offer an option to email in plain text???

how do you have the emails coming to the phone? via bis? if so they should come in plain txt. if you are using the browser to log in to your accounts they may show as html.

Are you talking about the links in the text???? The BB get plain text but it can look like html code... If that made sense.... Many confuse this as html code when it is not... See if you can send the email in plain text and see if that helps the issue....

BIS is BlackBerry Internet Service

It's NOT the email account doing it... Try changing the prefs in ebay (if they offer plain text email) and see if that helps...

It has been a long time since I set up my ebay email preferences. I do get them in text format with some links, but no html.
