Is there any way to force the blackberry browser to be used when opening links in email instead of the regular internet browser?

I might be the one not clever but I thought the blackberry browser is the regular internet browser. Unless I download another browser like mini opera for example, I only have one browser.

I think if you go to Options - Advanced Options - Browser you can change your Default browser configuration.

the blackberry browser uses MDS (BES) and the internet browser uses the carrier NOC.

change the default browser to set which browser you would like to use when clicking a link in an email as stated earlier. set the default browser to "blackberry browser" in other words.

nsquark

Thanks for that helpful information. I don't have BES so I only have one option.
