Default dst2007 patch issues

i have a verizon 8703e and am having issues with the dst patch! i OTA'ed it and it has been running for quite sometime with the issue '2007 dst patch manager is running...error with website...patch not found...trying again at date/time...

is this a RIM issue with their whole outage? i used to have a 8700g on tmobile and had no problem loading the patch. please help!
