Default Need help reverting back to 4.1 OS from 4.2

Please Login to Remove!

The 4.2 just runs like shit. Phone freezes, even the time is wrong. I have pull time from NETWORK option selected, and for some odd reason it displayed AM instead of PM. I had to switch it manually. WTF? Anyways I downloaded the 4.1 OS from T-Mobile's website for my 8700g, and installed it. Deleted Vendor XML file from temp folder, ran DM, and it didn't show up in the list. Am I missing something? Thanks.

PS my main reason for reverting is no matter WHAT I DO, I can't get the BB messenger icon to show up. Yes everythings shown, not hidden. The app is even in the app list under options. =/

Before you revert, double-check your application folder on the 8700. Also, use apploader on the desktop and make sure you have the messenger selected to be installed. Its also an ots download...

For the BB Messenger, was it selected for install when you upgraded? I noticed that when I was upgrading mine the BB Messenger was not set to install. I had to check the box.

4.2 is too buggy and slow... to go back wipe the bb with JL software and delete the xml and hook it back up with DM and it should be able to see it.. if not completely uninstall DM and reinstall it and try again after a reboot of the pc and bb

I found BB messener.. actually I had to do a pc install, then reboot the phone. It now works... it seems to be working ok but I'd feel more comfortable with 4.1 I'll do it soon.. and do the method where you uninstall dm. Thanks!

I reverted back to 4.1. It feels so ancient and its not as convenient as 4.2. I now see the big difference between the two. Sigh... reverting back to 4.2. Now the question... chinese or venezuelen?
