Assuming this is becasue its on a BES server?

Its my dads phone... with sprint... I was trying to set up some personal emails for him but there is no 'personal account' set up option (at least i cant find it)

I could do it on my BES through my company... but maybe he cant? Or am I missing something?

NEVERMIND! Set it up through internet...

BUT, question is:

Why dont I have a drop down box for a 'sent from' box?

emails go to the device from other email accts...but when i respond it responds through the BES corp email... ideas?

If you have setup th BIS account, go to Options, Advanced, Messages. Scroll over the one visible and hold down the ALT key to see the message services you have available on you BB. Is your BIS listed? You can set the default email service to send FROM there. When you send a NEW email, it will default from that address. While in the compose new email window, you can change that by going to the top of the compose screen and changing the "send from."
When you are "replying" to a received email, you can ONLY send from the one it received that email from.

I went there with it... But all that showed was the BES acct... the BIS emails came through like I said, but you could only reply with the BES email. I guess thats something the IT policy restricts.... cant think of any other reasons... can you?
