Default Quirk with Optus 4.2.1.85 build

I installed the Optus version the other day on my 8700C (on Cingular) and noticed that when in the message view it says I have no service when I have a full strength EDGE signal. I can still send and receive e-mail so I am not sure why it would say that. As soon as I go to the home screen or the phone screen it changes from No Service to Cingular. BTW I am running the AT&T theme.

Has anyone else seen this?

Tim

Default

in the sticky thread, it was noted that it's a bug in the OS.
