I am running the latest Orange release on my BB 8700f 4.1.0.319 (Platform 2.0.0.134) and was trying to upgrade to the 4.2 release. However when running the install it claims there is nothing to update. Is the orange 4.1.0.319 the same as 4.2 from other telcos or am I doing something wrong?

Did you delete the vendor.xml file from your computer before attempting to install the newer OS?

Yes -- it's probably why your app loader says there's nothing to update (and therefore why penguin3107 was asking). You need to shut down DM, delete vendor.xml, and then restart DM.

Thanks. I had an issue first off but uninstalled, reinstalled and then deleted the file and it is currently updating as we speed. Thanks for your help.
