Been trying to get my BB GPS to work but without any luck.

I'm going outside and am starting the GPS which after a couple of minutes picks up the satelitte

But all I see is the north arrow and what can only be described as a green arrowy background.

I can zoom in or out but with difference so what's the crack how do you get it to work.

Can you actually see the streets?

you do have data service plan correct? GPS requires it
