Default 8800 Phone...

Hi,

Does anyone know how to silence the ringer when a phone call comes through without dropping the call?

If I hit the volume key it stops ringing for few secs but then starts until the call is dropped.

Thanks

there was a thread about the vibrate question, but I think the anser was no it does nto have that option to vibrate as long as it rings. I would like that too, my old non-bb phones used to do that.

I would say it DOES have that option.

Go to Profiles, Advanced options, Phone Only (or whatever you have selected as your profile), Phone....then hilite the InHolster and Out of Holster selections to pick what you want....mine is on Vibrate + Tone....works well.

I use the down volume button on the side. That works well, too.
