I picked up a stereo to mono adapter from radio shack. I plugged it in but it doesn't work. Does anyone have an answer?

The headset jack isn't mono for one thing. It's 2.5mm but it has four conductors, it seems from looking at the Seidio adapter (which does work).

I just returned mine to Radio Shack too! It said works with "most" MP3 cell phones. Well, it didn't work with the 8800. Shoot, I really need one before I leave for a trip out of the country Friday morning. Anybody know where you can pick one up without having to purchase online? Thanks.

Default Not getting stereo using Seido Jack

I bought the seido jack, but I can't get stereo out of the 8800 via the jack. Am I missing any setting on the BB?

I get stereo from mine. There was no setup required. There are instructions to plug the headset into the adapter first, and then plug the Seido adapter into the BB.
