hello, i have an 8700g through tmobile in the US. im currently upgrading to 4.2OS from telefonica venezuela. i took a leap into the dark with this, not really knowing if its going to work with my phone/carrier.

is there anyone out there with an 8700g through tmobile who has 4.2 and is running ok. i see the new packages like 4.2.1.126 and i want to know if its ok to try that OS out. this is my first time updating. thanks in advance.

Any 8700 OS is "safe" on any 8700.

thank you for your help. i installed the 4.2.1.xxx os from the link you gave. its running fine. anyone know about the media features, like what can be played? i dont have a video section....and i would like to know if i can watch videos. isnt that why everyone wants 4.2?
