Default Bluetooth - do I have this right?

Okay - I let a T-Mobile person talk me into Bluetooth for my BB yesterday. I'm a former Treo 600 user (former only because the Treo is buzzing and the BB was given to me for free, so hey - I should use it right??). The T-Mobile guy told me that if I had Bluetooth on my BB I'd be much happier with it, even though he agrees that he likes his Treo better.

So I have Bluetooth. I can't dial with it - is this correct? Well, I CAN dial with it, but it just dials the last number that I dialed on the phone. Not all that useful <g>. From the posts I've read this seems to be correct - i.e., that all Bluetooth is really going to give me is the ability to have a "wireless" headphone, and not really any other functionality. Right? If so, I'm taking the Bluetooth headset back - I don't find wireless that important at all for the price!

If I've missed something critical and it should work otherwise lemme know

Yes there is. Very cool stuff. Be available in May. Company is called Thinprint. Bluetooth printing from a BlackBerry.

You can sync wirelessly via Bluetooth with Outlook, too, right? I haven't tried it yet as I don't have Bluetooth on my laptop, but I plan on buying an adapter soon. Please let me know if this is not possible so I don't waste my $$$!!!!

No. Audio/wireless headset only. No syncing. No beaming. No downloading of ringtones via Bluetooth. Audio/headset only.

If you spend the dough you can get a Jabra BT800 headset that displays caller ID and lets you return phone calls from the C ID list without picking up your BB. $119 at Comp USA.
