Question 7290 dialing question?

Please Login to Remove!

One of the few problems I have with the use of my BB 7290 is dialing numbers. If I try to dial a local number from the address book it always adds a 1 and area code. I asked my provider (Rogers) and they tell me although it is adding the 1 and area code I am not paying long distance unless it is actually long distance. I have never checked my bill to see if I am being charged or not. It makes using the missed calls or address book useless. Any ideas on this.

Thanks

Default

Check your 'Smart Dialing' settings:

Phone --> Options --> Smart Dialing

Sounds like something isn't right there...
