Default Another 8300 v. 8800 question---ugh

Please Login to Remove!

I know the 8300 is still an unknown, but hopefully someone can help me out. Besides a camera (don't need it) and wi-fi (could care less) will there be any major differences between the two in terms of software, media capabilities etc? I really want GPS so I am leaning toward the 8800 especially since it is unknown if the Tmobile 8300 will have GPS.

Anyone have an idea of the difference in form factor, too?

search the forums their are comparison pictures of both devices. also from the sounds of it the keyboard would be the main difference for you since camera and wifi make little difference. Not sure about GPS but some are saying that it will be left out in the 83xx. All rumors though, no one knows or can tell.

Nope. Camera is the major feature (and I guess the keyboard) separating the 83XX line from the 88XX line. The 83XX's look like they will ship with a newer OS that will actually implement the custom folders (and moving apps), assuming the Boy Genius is correct...

If you don't need the camera and need GPS then you really should just get the 8800.
