Has anyone else noticed the ring volume and message alert volume are not as loud as they were on the 8700? The 8700 seemed to be significantly louder, even when using the same rings as the 8700. I have added some ring tones from my SD Card, but at full volume they sound distorted, so thats not a viable fix. Maybe its just my unit...

I never had an 8700 but I have an 8800 and I don't even use the loudest ring setting. I have it on medium and can hear the "CTU Ring" in the living room from the kitchen quite well....happened last night and the gf never ceases to make fun of my "Jack" ringtone.

Also one time I forgot that I had Dave Chappelle as my email notification and it went off in the parking garage elevator at work. One lady couldn't stop laughing and the other didn't hear it...luckily....I'M RICK JAMES...
