1 day with the T-Mo 8800 So after my 1st day with the T-Mobile 8800 here are my thoughts... -- GPS is awesome! It's fast and dead on target! -- Yes my sides creak! -- Screen is awesome! (seems smaller and wider than the 8700)???? -- OS is faaaaaaaaast! -- Addition of media card is awesome -- Phone level is a bit low for me.... Yes I have it cranked :) -- Keyboard is way different from the 8700... BUT after one day I am adjusting nicely... -- Track ball (like the 8100) rocks over the track wheel... -- Size and weight.... I have NO idea why some are bagging on it.... it's light and thin..... Ok, that is all for now.... All in all I am pretty happy with the 8800... Other than my creaking sides..... |
Two days for me and ditto on the review. |
I thought I was going deaf.... The phone (what I hear from caller on other end) is a bit weak to me..... It needs to be amped up.... OR I am old, deaf in one ear and can't hear out of the other.... Edit: I forgot to add that it comes with a very nice BB pouch! Considering the 8100 came with nothing, the 8700 came with the dreaded launcher.... I was impressed with the pouch that came in the box.... |

Keyboard I used a 7290 for a year, so I was used to the QWERTY. I had a Pearl starting in November. SOOO glad to be back on QWERTY! Getting faster all the time. |
Ohhh my..... I had the 7290, then the 7100, then the 7105, back to the 7290, then the 8700, then the 8100, then back to 8700, then back to 8100 and now the 8800..... :head spinning: I am getting adjusted to the 8800 keyboard.... :) |
yes, you have an addiction. and I think the keyboard is very good once u get used to it. |
I just got rid of that junk service nextel(7520) and switch to tmo(8800) and loving it. Does anyone know of an IM app that you can use with the 8800(tmo) that supports AIM? |
