Default Unable to dial from the home screen

Please Login to Remove!

Hi-

Currently using a BB 8700G on T-Mo, version 4.1.0.284.

I'm having problems dialing from the home screen... everything is set the way it should be under 'phone>options'... this problem occurred only a couple of days ago... not sure what happened.

Normally, I can just start dialing and start to make a call. Now, when I hit a speed dial key or a designated number key, it takes me straight to the call log screen, which is incredibly annoying since I waste a keystroke everytime I want to call someone.

If anyone has any clue how to fix this, or know why this is happening, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums,

Did you try rebooting the phone by removing the battery for a few seconds and reinserting?

Thanks, it worked... that was ridiculously easy. I did the manual reset (alt + cap + del) and that didn't work so I didn't even bother thinking about removing the battery. Duh.
