7230 T-Mobile APN USER/PASS? Hi People, just got my blackberry today. I immediately upgraded to 4.0 before I started farting around with it. I loaded the Idokorro SSH client and can't get it to connect via TCP/IP. I ieep getting "could not open tunnel". I also tried the open source SSH client and also the AIM client to no avail. I called TMOBILE as a last resort and the rep told me I do not need a user/pass in the APN field. Hrmmm, any assistance is appreciated. |
Hi! I just used the "Search" button at the top of the page and found this great thread about configuring applications via TCP/IP... http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...t=t-mobile+apn Enjoy! |
Hi NJBlackBerry, Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that I did search and saw that thread, hence my question about the USER/PASS. I have tried it with and without the user pass and I still get no TCP/IP connectivity howver I can browse the web just fine. Would the username be the same one I log into the tmobile website with? In other words, my phone number is the username and whatever pass I created? Thjanks |
According to this thread - http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...57&postcount=1 - you do. |
