Default Problems after Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

Yesterday I was syncing my BB 8700 because I just downloaded som software During the sync the connection between my BB and my computer got lost. The ony thing my BB is able to do now is giving either a black screen of a white screen white screen with a hourglass, anything else is a no go. What is the problem, Who can help me? Removing the battery did not do the trick.

Sounds like the OS is corrupt; I'd try this:

- get a copy of JL_CMDER (search for it on these boards) and completely wipe out the BlackBerry. This will wipe out everything on the BB. I hope you have a data backup.

- Download the latest version of the 8700 handheld OS from T-Mobile at Unsupported Browser

- Execute the program you just downloaded

- Locate and delete VENDOR.XML on your PC C: drive

- Restart Desktop Manager; the OS should load now

- Restore data (if necessary)

Default Problems with sync

Hi,

you gave me the advice to wipe out my BB, but that is a problem to, because the BB doesnt make a connection with the PC anymore... How do i wipe oute my BB
