Default Old guy + new tech= GRRRRR =(

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a new 7110i with nextel about 2 days ago and I have a few questions. Ive read the owners manual cover to cover but couldn't find an answer . Here goes:

calender:
I want to put one of my employees work schedule in my planer. Say he works a night shift, 8pm to 2am. I really want my calender to show he got to work at 6pm and show that he worked 8 hours until 2am. However, when I put his name in at 6pm and ending at 2am the calender goes kinda crazy. It shows some weird line starting at 6pm and ending at 11:00 am the next day? What is this little blue line? Also, 11:00am the next day has some weird little box around it??

Emails:
To test the email feature I send an email (from my blackberry) from 1 address on my BB to another email I also was monitoring on my BB. Say I had both [email address] and [email address] on my phone. I opened fakemail@gakecarrier and sent a message to [email address]. I never got the email I sent from the first address to the second one!! Is this something i should worry about?

Messages:

I have emptied my voice mail. Ive read or delted all of the emails on my phone. Ive deleted all sms messages. But the icon on top of my screen still says i have 15 messages?? Am i missing something??

Please any of your help would be greatly appreciated. When I was a kid (way way back when) They didnt teach us about computers in school!! Im kind of in a dark spot here but im trying to understand. Thank you for your time

As far as that last item goes, it is quite common for the Blackberry to show that there are voice mails in your mailbox even though you've read and deleted them all. If you do a hard reboot (shut it off, pull the battery, reinsert it, and turn it on) that usually clears them. Or not. On mine I can usually get rid of all but one for some reason.

I've been told that it has something to do with your service provider, you might try calling them about it.
