Problems with BBmessenger
 

My blackberry is 2 days old (its my first one) and im addicted. But since yesterday my bbmessenger is being weird. The messages that others sent me dont get through to me (but i do get the message that they are typing).
Someone sent me a request, 4 times and I accepted it all the times and it still says its pending at his bb. What am I doing wrong?
I does work with one guy, i have no trouble talking to him..
But i like to talk to others too..

hmm, that one user, have you tried sending or receiving a pure PIN message from the Messages folder? Try that, if it works, BBMessenger should work with him also.

I would delete all the pending requests and start over with another. Maybe have him/her send you the request this time.

pin to pin works fine (thank god) soo ive deleted all my contacts, weird thing is it still says i got 0/11 contacts? What the hell does that mean?

Oh, probably means you ought to pull the battery and reboot the BB.

While the battery is powered on, pull the battery, hold 30 seconds, and replace.

On the 8800 is also a Soft Reset icon, which can be used, but I personally think pulling the battery does a more complete reboot. Opinions vary.
