RTA: Real Time Analyzer. They analyze audio.

This is the kind of software that I'm looking for. HASA

Nope, Dont count on one either. RTA's require a rather elaborate microphone to be attached, which the blackberry really has no way of attaching one except bluetooth, which at this time is stricktly for phone use.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7290/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/1.1)

Actually RTAs don't require an elaborate microphone. Any application that ususes FFTs just uses the built in microphone on the device that it is running on. Much like using the mic input on a PC while using a PC mic. While it may not be a B&K, it will suffice for a basic RTA.
