Default Uncaught Exception

Please Login to Remove!

I just added a new group for a distribution list. Now when I hit the talk button and a letter of the alphabet to access the address book I get this uncaught exception error
java.lang.ClassCastException

Anyone have any ideas?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Try pulling the battery to reboot the BB and see if that clears the error.

I got this error on my Pearl and Cingular replaced it...and the replacement did it too, which means that the 1st one wasn't defective LOL. Now, the 8800 I have does it once in a while. I think it's just a bug.

Uncaught exceptions usually mean that a program and/or its persistant data are corrupted. You'll probably need to uninstall/reinstall. If it is BlackBerry software or OS features, you should try to upgrade the OS.
