Question Remove SIM Card?

Please Login to Remove!

Sorry to ask such a basic question, but what is the proper procedure for removing a SIM card? I need to move the card from 8700c to 8800. I'm scared to death of damaging the card by removing it incorrectly. Thanks!

On the 8700c there should just be a plastic tab holding it in place. Simply push down on that tab and slide the card out.

It's just a slot on the 8800 (the metal lock is for the microSD card). Check the icon on the slot for proper insertion. It will show you where the notched corner should be.

The SIM card can be tricky to remove on the 8700's. I use a pencil eraser to get a better grip on it. Others have used tape or pliers. Just be careful if you use pliers.
