Default Problem with Blackberry 7230

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone help me, newbie i`m afraid. I`ve just bought an unlocked 7230. When I switch it on, I go straight to the phone menu & am not able to access the icons....any thought`s.....thanks

Is this the first time you have turned it on? Try a hard reset, or wiping the phone. If that works, great. If not, hit the half moon key and push in the escape button. It should allow you to surf the different options, much like windows. Click on home screen then.

thanks, I`m able to make outgoing calls,I can see how many sms messages I`ve got...it was driving me crazy!! Is there any chance it could be broken?

Well it certainly is a possibility . . .
Try this,

Click 1/2 moon again and click the track wheel. Is there a feature that says show all. If not then I am not sure, contact the person who sold you the phone.

I am not an experienced user but try this hold down the half moon button and click the trackwheel. This will show a small menu in the top right of the screen. Scroll down to Show All and click. I suspect that the previous owner chose to hide all but one icon - the Phone icon.
