Default Where is a comparison of 8800 and 8300

Could someone tell me where I can find a comparison of the 8800 and 8830? I have been on Verizon for 10 years, but could convert to AT&T for many reasons, but I don't know what the differences in the two phones is or what the better choice might be. Thanks

Heres one that compares with photos:

BlackBerry 8300 and BlackBerry 8800 Comparison Shots : The Boy Genius Report

If you want to compare specs, go to the Blackberry site.

I'd say its almost worth jumping ship for...except for the network speed of Verizon. That was the deciding factor for me.

I'd also recommend you go to Phone Scoop and click on the "Phones" link on the left. You can then do side-by-side comparisons of both devices so you can see what is the same and what is different.

Thanks, those are both very helpful. Just one question, what do you mean jump ship? I am on Verizon, you are on Verizon. Toward which ship should I jump?

Keep in mind, it's not 100% accurate.

What he means is, he did not go to AT&T (formerly Cingular) because the data connection is too slow. He rather have faster Internet connection so he stay at Verizon.

Go to Blackberry.com

Click "Blackberry for Life"

Click "Our Devices"

Click "Compare Devices" on the right hand side.

DRAG the devices that you would like to compare to where the arrow points to.

FUTURE REFERENCE: ALWAYS check the manufacturers website and you will most likely find what you are looking for.

Ok, I use both Verizon, and at&t for various reasons! Both are wonderful in there own way,as are both devices, which I have covered in some of my posts and threads. VZW is good in the way that reliability is there strong point. Good clear reception! So for them the 8830 is a pretty good choice
(Do your homework first)! Now when you talk at&t, your talking about a network that is still in growth stages and getting better and better all the time! I have no complaints with there service or there edge download speeds! EVDO on VZW is anywhere from 5 to 8 seconds faster then EDGE on at&t when it comes to internet browsing, and download speeds. Now, at&t offers both the 8800 as well as the Curve. I own both, as well as the 8830 and love them all. But in this area you have to do your research and try what device works better for you and your needs. If you like the camera, and small form factor idea then you should check out the Curve on at&t. If you could use GPS, then the 8800 is worth a look. And if you want to stay put on VZW, check out the 8830. All great in there own way. Good luck on your search for a new Berry! And if any questions come up by way of your search, don't hesitate to ask.
