| shortcut buttons on 7290 Please Login to Remove! I just upgraded from a 7730 to a 7290 on T-Mobile. I Like the new device, but one thing that's missing is the ability to open system apps by pressing a letter instead of highlighting the icon and pushing the track wheel. On the 7730, for example, by pushing "m" on the key board "messages" would open, or "L" to open "calendar". The applicable letter would be denoted by an underscore on the description of the highlighted icon that appears at the bottom of the screen on the desktop.
Does anyone have any idea whether this is just not a feature on the 7290 (which would be too bad as it was a nice convenience instead of always navigating to the desired icon) or is there some way to enable the feature.
Many thanks. Lponz7 |
