Default Quick Question On IM apps!

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings,

I have an 8700 and was wondering which IM apps are out there? Also which one will allow me to to use aim and yahoo im???

I have been looking into this, saw a few out there but needed to know which one is best for my specific BB. Does anyone on the board had good or bad experiences with IM'ing, Also if it's free it will be much better...... Thank you in advance.

My personal preference is Jive Talk from beejive :: JiveTalk mobile messaging.
Well worth the $20 in my opinion.
Supports all mainstream IM protocols.

There are many, many threads on this topic. The search function will help you find lots of info.

For yahoo messenger there is a free native application at mobile.blackberry.com under downloads

I, too, recommend the JiveTalk IM program. I have used IM+ from ShapeServices and JiveTalk and prefer the JiveTalk program.
