Default 8800 Messages show up as Folders

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all:

Anyone have any idea as to why messages are now showing up in my device as folders that I can't delete? Our company has a BES that has been updated and messed with a lot, but nothing has happened lately to cause this that I know of. I had the service book resent out, which has fixed a few other issues, but this one is a real pain. The only option I was told was to reset the entire device, which I really don't want to do.

Any help would be great.

Thanx..

Try this...go to you email, then go to options>Genereal Option and change Hide Filed Messages to "Yes". that way they will be filed and to see them you have to go into the actual folder to see it. Let me know if that helps!!

I had that once after a mailbox template change on our Domino infrastructure. A reactivation (from the active device without a reset) helped me out and I didn't loose a lot of data.

Have your BES admin set an activation password for you on the BES, and then do an Enterprise Activation from your device.

Options > Advanced Options > Enterprise Activation.

Are you using Lotus Notes? If so, this is a known issue and was addressed with Hotfix 1 on BES 4.1.3. Your BES admins should know about this if they're doing their jobs.
