Default BB 8800 and Calendar on Wrong Date

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, i am experiencing a funny problem with my BB8800. The calendar in Agenda view seems to think that today is about a week or so in the past. if i choose "go to today" (which is 9 June 2007) the calendar chooses 27 May 2007.

The date and time is coorect on the BB.

Any suggestions?

Have you removed the battery and reinserted it?

John,

I have removed the battery and re-inserted (reset) and it has not solved te problem.

I did not have any meetings set down for Saturday 9 June 2007, and it was going to the previous date. However, as i have a meeting set down for today, it seems to be going to the correct date. Maybe this has something to do with it.

I appreciat your help.

Regards,

I had the same problem with my Curve, mine kept jumping back to Sep, 21 2006 when i chose "today".

My fix was to "show free time in agenda view" under the options screen. Now when i go to "today" it shows "today".

I really did not want to show my "free time" but its a trade off.

Hope it helps.

If you have show free time set to "No", then agenda view will only display days that have calendar items. It can't go to today if today is not displayed, so I guess it goes to the nearest thing.

My calendar seems to deafultto beginning or certain number of entries back. Not sure. It would be more livable for many of us if there was a shortcut key to bring me to the current date in the agenda view.

There appears to be a bug in the most recent upgrade that has a problem with recurring or all-day appointments. You need to delete them and resync. After that, the Agenda view will default to the next upcoming appointment as it did before.

Another "Undocumented Feature" brought to you by Verizon - Can you hear me now?

I thought so.
