Default BB830 Email Question

Please Login to Remove!

Newbie here.

I recently got the BB 8830. I would like to retrieve my corporate email (MS Exchange) but we do not have the BES server.

What solutions can I use? Your assistance is appreciated.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Use the BIS setup (BlackBerry Internet Service). Details at this link, scroll down to "how do I add or delete my BIS".

Good luck.

Thanks for the link JS.
Will have to leave my laptop on to push email to my BB? I would like to avoid this setting.

Once your account is properly configured on the BIS site you will not need to leave your PC running as message redirection is handled by the BIS server.

Is BIS instant push? If not, what are the time settings?
