Hi im new and this is my first post . This may seem weird but its happening. about every cpl days i get a chime like i have msg on my blackberry . i have it set to vibe . The black berry vibes but when i go to check the unit there is no msg . the unit is only used for pin to pin no telephone or internet use . i have had the service for 3 months and this is just now starting to occur .
my question is : any one else have this problem ? could this be a net work problem or a problem with my particular unit ? Or are blackberrys prone to being attacked by criminals or who ever out there trying to accsess information some how . pls and thank you

Paranoid, eh? It is probably not a criminal trying to access your BlackBerry.
It is likely some kind of alert, calendar reminder or another tupe message like SMS. Look at your profile settings for type of message and see what it could be.

being paraniod is my nature of everything that has to do with mine and others privacy rights . I also thought that the profiles settings had something to do with it but if it did what ever it was notifying me of shouldnt it display an icon of what the notification is . what boggles me is that it happens at random times and random days . ther is obvisouly some communication with my unit from some where just no indication as to where and what it is . i tried to look though my log files but i dont know what any of that crap means lols

SECURITY is one of the Major Foundation of any anitvirus program too but somewhere out there . theres a filipino slash chinese slash indian hybrid out there munchin down on some rice and blasting out the answer to backdooring the thing . before anyone harps on me for being racist i am an asian aswell and i was just trying to bring some levity to my stupidity of not knowing a damm thing lols . im just posting just to educate my self and maybe learn some grammar and some spelling .
question are msg's and emails and our data stored on servers that can be accsessed at any given time . if companies are sending sensitive emials and msg's over the blackberries are they comprimised in any way ?
