| Help: I bricked my 7100t Please Login to Remove! Good morning.
I tried to downgrade to 3.8 today from 4.0 to fix the voice static problem, and hopefully help with the reboot issue. I followed the downgrade instructions in the upgrade FAQ. The application loader saw that the OS on the phone was newer than the one on the PC, and offered to do the downgrade for me as per the description in the upgrade FAQ.
About 90% through the downgrade, the apploader locked up. The progress bar stopped moving during restore settings. I am thinking that I should not have restored new OS settings to an old OS. Anyway, it sat that way for an hour. Knowing bad things would follow, I unplugged the phone from the USB. It boots, but will not let me turn the wireless on. It will not make a call. I am not able to run the application loader. It does not respond.
So, I plan to try to wipe using the javaloader and start over.
Any other suggestions? |
