This is driving me nuts.

I have a broken USB port, and i need to get my large address book of my 8700 to my 8800, there is a option in address book to transfer, but i cant seem to find out how to do it?

did you try to transfer the contacts on the 8700 to the sim card the pop the sim card on the 8800 and transfer from the sim card to the phone?

It cant even get that option on the 8700??

BIS or BES? how about wireless synch?

SIM card transfer won't get anything more than one name and one phone number per contact, it is not a good option UNLESS it is the only option.

Do you have sync with Outlook or another PIM, do you have recent backup?

Without the USB, on the 8700 you don't have much choice unless you are BES.
