If anyone can help me that would be great. My boss wants to sync his Blackberry 7230 and his PalmOne Tungsten E2 together, and his computer as well. I was told that its as easy as just syncing his palm to outlook, then syncing outlook to his blackberry. What he wants to sync is just client information and appointments/meetings. He wants to use his blackberry less in terms of writing emails. Also what software is needed for the sync? Just the software that came with his blackberry and outlook?

If Desktop Manager is not already loaded on his PC, get this and install:

Next, sync his Palm with Outlook.

Then Sync his Outlook with BB. You will want to configure the Sync in Desktop Manager to ONLY sync his Calendar and Address Book.

Nope. Can't sync direct Palm to BB. That would be like bestiality for your BB.

There are workarounds that are not as pretty, but work. Your first manner doing it via Outlook is the best and cleanest.

Otherwise, Sync the Palm to get a CSV or text file. and then import the CSV or text file into the BB via Desktop Manager.

Can outlook express do the same operations as outlook? I'm downloading outlook trial from microsoft because my boss doesn't have outlook on his computer. Hopefully the trail has sync options enabled.

Outlook Express will work sync well with the BB.
