Default Call Waiting

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I get a call when I am on another call and I accept or deny when I try and make my next call it won't let me, it says call in progress and I need to remove the battery. Anyone else seen this?

I have this problem as well. The next time you go to make a call all you can select is "Conference Call" whomever it is you are trying to dial. I wonder if there is a fix for this yet?

I just spoke with Verizon and this is a known issue that does not have a patch yet.

Default "Call in progress" lock up

About the “call in progess” freeze thing…I discovered this occurs when switching between two calls by using the green/talk button. The Verizon CS reps were no help and simply suggested we take the phone back since it appeared defective. I switched phones once and when it happened on the second phone, I suspected there was something wrong about the way I was switching lines. I went back to reading the manual.

To switch between calls, press the menu key or the track ball and select the “Answer - hold current” or the “flash” option. Using this method will switch between calls and prevent the lock up. Do not use the green talk button to switch between lines. Hope this helps.

I have spoken with Verizon about this. It is clearly a known problem, and they will supposedly correct it on the next software upgrade. If a call comes in while an outbound call is connecting, then the phone locks up and can only be corrected by removing the battery.

I spoke with Verizon about this for about an hour and they acted like they had never heard about this. It was about as frustrating of a call as I've had.

Thumbs down

I have the same problem, my response from verizon was the exact same... ridiculious how much "customer service" is offered on one of their most expensive phones....
