Default Buying used 7230 without charger

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking at buying a second-hand 7230 without any of the original accessories. Will it be easy and affordable to buy these later and what is it that I need to buy? I have a 5820 complete set which has a charger, serial data cable, stand, cd, headset, manuals and box. I guess the 7230 needs a charger and usb data cable as a minimum but I would welcome any advice from seasoned users.

How much are you looking at buying the 7230 for? You can get 7230's on ebay with all accessories for pretty cheap these days, if you are comfortable with ebay. Look around before you jump in to it. Otherwise, check blackberry's website for prices on the stuff you need.

I have been monitoring ebay but a local auction site has one for the equivalent of US$76 (without accessories). Not being in the U.S. means I incur high shipping charges.

You can buy the cable to hook the 7230 into the computer for less than 5 bucks (which is the same cable most camera's use) and you can buy a car charger for 10 or 15 bucks... They are the only ways I charge mine... I don't know what the price of the 110v adapter/charger is...

There are some good sponsors here on that sell items like this, maybe you should check out the sponsor areas and see what they have to offer.

Thanks. I would be looking at getting the 240v charger. Incidentally, why do you suggest a car charger?
