BIS service not working
I have enablel BIS service (internet / email) for my 7100i Nextel BB.
I am running software 7100iM_PBr4.1.0_rel112_PL184.108.40.206_A220.127.116.11_Sprin tNextel.exe
The globe icons don't appear and the service cannot be used.
My associate has the same BB but software 7100iEFS_PBr4.1.0_rel525_PL18.104.22.168_A22.214.171.1246_Nex tel.exe
and it works fine.
I cannot use the same software because it gives me "sim card error" - see my other post.
Do you know any reason why the server is not working on that version of software?
You def need to call tech support they can help you with all your issues at once. Nextel has had a long issue of setting BBs up and them having to redo everything before they work like they should. One of the reasons I left them
I talked to them but they say they cannot make it work. Besides, they say they don't support 7100i in Brazil but my associate's phone work fine!
we also don't support them in canada.....where they were designed and made! :shock:
