Yes I do. I did not find any information pertaining to my question on the site. Do you have any information that you wish to volunteer?

Try the search feature for a host of information: http://www.blackberryforums.com/sear...searchid=89821 presently there is only one place Bongowireless that can voice/data unlock Blackberry's located in Toronto, ON Canada. You'll need to FedEx you Blackberry with a 100US and they'll FedEx it back. Check their site to see if their unlocking 7290's yet.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7290/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/1.1)

Thanks for the reply. I have contacted Bongos and found out it would be $100. But thank you for enlightening me on the process. I was hoping to find a way to get it done free or relatively cheap.

the only free way will be getting cingular to unlock it. Are you a current Cingular customer? If so thats prolly your only chance at a free unlock.

Cingular won't help.
T-Mobile is the only carrier with a fair unlocking policy.
