I'm thing about getting a 8830. How much will it be (estimate)? How much did you get yours for from Verizon Wireless (before and after rebate)? Details would be nice. Is it worth the price?

please do a little research before asking a question

8830 info on the Verizon site

cathangle 06-19-2007 01:08 PM

ok thanks, but what about sprint?

DonNguyen 06-19-2007 01:29 PM

google is your friend....

I just got my 8830 on Friday and it got mine as a discounted upgrade that verizon provides and I was NOT the primary user (we have the family share plan) and I got the phone for 399-100(discount)-100(rebate)=199. Obviously this is with a new two year contract but that is the same price as if you got a brand new line, not bad at all........well worth it.

Sprint pricing will be very similar to VZW's Retail, Corporate, and B2B/B2E pricing.

That said my VZW 8830 was free, migrating from a VZW 8703e on an Intl voice/unlimited data plan. Corp/B2B/B2E pricing will vary depending on the number of lines & contract.

Providing a link to the answer in addition to suggesting a search would be a nice touch. This response is pointless.

As 2 samuel 22 mentioned, pricing for the Sprint device will be comparable to the Verizon device. Roughly $199 (per my Sprint National Account Rep).

I plan on getting this phone, who else is?

i picked mine up after being a decade long Palm user for $100.00 on Verizon after new every two discount, signing up for data discount of $100.00 and $100.00 rebate. so far I love this blackberry. the last time I picked up my 700p, it reset and I put it in a drawer and haven't gone back to it. It does every thing I need.

Cheap!

Combining a corporate discount, advanced tech discount, and mail-in rebate, I was able to get the 8830 from VZW for $49 before tax. Woo Hoo!
