Default Rogers to Telus

I have a Rogers 8800 and I want to know if I can have it registered to work on Telus instead?

It has been unlocked. I'm not familiar with the technologies behind Rogers or Telus so is there something preventing this?

Can't do it. Your 8800 only works on GSM networks (Rogers and Fido in Canada). Telus, Bell, Aliant, MTS, Sasktel, et al. are all CDMA networks and ne'er the twain shall meet. Best stick with Rogers or get a BB 8830 on Bell or Telus in a couple weeks when they're released.

(EDIT) Also I see your prior BB was a 7510. That's on Telus's Mike network, which uses IDEN technology. Though it takes a SIM card that looks the same as the Rogers SIM in your 8800, the two are incompatible.
