Default When should I replace my 8800's battery?

I got it secondhand off of craig's list. She said she had the phone since January so the battery is about 6 months old. The life is pretty decent but not as good as my previous 8700g. Could this be that the battery is just old? Any extended batteries for it yet?

You shouldn't need a new battery after 6 months. I don't think there is an extended battery yet.

I agree - I'm on 6 months just about and still workin strong.....bmwmpower - did you condition the battery when you received it?

i've just swapped mine out after about 6 weeks, had exactly the same thing with my old 8700 - guess there are some duds out there
