I've search but can't seem to find a way to fix.

I have duplicate contacts in my BB. How when I sync can I make sure it's not going to create duplicates from my Outlook contacts.

Also, my calendar entries came over from Outlook however, I lost 1) reminders and 2) am not able to sync new events from BB to Outlook or Outlook to BB.

Any ideas on how I can get these two functions to work.

BTW - We do not have an Exchange server or a BB enterprise server.

This is a known issue with the Calendar application/sync with the 8830 and the 8300. I don't know that a fix has been officially put out yet.

The calendar issue can be solved by sending new Service Books. Use the BIS site to send them to your phone.

The contacts one I haven't heard about. You could use Desktop Manager to remove all the contacts from your 8830 and then resync. I had to do that to get duplicate calendar entries off my BB, but I knew I had everything I wanted in Outlook so it wasn't a big deal.
