Default 8830 Signal and hand and wrist hurt

Please Login to Remove!

I have my 8830 for three hours.

My 7250 has an excelent signal in my home, while my 8830 fades out. I did #2228 to upgrade. The VZW response is that different devices react to the signal differenently

In addition, I probably need to learn to type differently. My hand, wrist and thumb are hurting.

I also see that the device does not support Bank of America.

Run the browser in compatibility/emulation mode for Microsoft Pocket IE, then the Bank of America mobile site ( will work.

About B of A -

I saw a post somewhere, maybe in these forms, you have to change the Browser Emulation to Microsoft IE (Options - Browser Configuration - Emulation Mode).

Worked for me, though the Mobile B of A Website is not very exciting.

The hand hurting in the wrist and the thumb could mean carpal tunnel, I'd go to a doctor and get it checked out if I were you.

I've got an appointment with a surgeon for the release next week :p

Seems to be a side effect of our crackberries ;)
